Omsk residents will sing songs of the war years in the “Victory Tram” together with artists

This unusual transport will run around Omsk for three days.

Let us remind you that earlier, as part of the “Voice of Victory” campaign of the Department of Culture, a radio car was running around the city. From it sounded the familiar “Katyusha”, “In the Forest at the Front”, “Road to Berlin”, “Song of War Correspondents” and others. This year, the “Victory Tram” will travel through the streets of Omsk.

– Together with the Department of Transport, we decided to theme the tram for the Victory Train. Omsk residents will be able to drive this on route No. 4. It runs from Kotelnikov Street to the village of Amurskoye, – told Director of the Department of Culture Oleg Fedorenko.

According to him, artists from municipal creative groups will also be passengers. Together with Omsk residents, they will sing songs of the war years and tell interesting facts about the work of Omsk trams during the war, about the Omsk heroes, after whom the streets of our city are named. In addition, passengers will be given a collection of “Songs of Victory.”

The Victory Tram will run on May 7, 8 and 9 from 11.00 to 17.00.
