Sobyanin: Artificial intelligence will become the basic medical technology in Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that artificial intelligence will become the basic medical technology in the capital. This will make telemedicine a routine part of treatment.

“The main thing is that modern digital technologies really save lives and radically improve the quality of treatment for people,” said Sergei Sobyanin.

The mayor of Moscow clarified that thanks to the use of such technology, it is possible to easily analyze computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging images, x-ray results and much more. Artificial intelligence can recognize more than 37 different diseases: cancer, stroke, pneumonia and others.

Sergei Sobyanin said in his personal blog that he plans to improve the analysis of medical records and recognition of the occurrence of illnesses in the early stages using a neural network.

The mayor of Moscow added that with the help of telemedicine it will be possible to find out about the condition of the body without going to the doctor.
