Two Russian servicemen are suspected of killing five people in the Kherson region, the men were detained, Baza reports.
Among the dead were two women, one of whom was the head of the village. Three men were also killed, including two servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the channel, the bodies of victims began to be found in the village of Podo-Kalinovka on the morning of April 24. The first to be found was a woman who died from gunshot wounds. In some places, her body was burnt and showed traces of the use of an explosive device. Nearby, investigators found bullet fragments and a grenade ring. After 15 minutes, two more bodies were found: a burned and disfigured man and woman. The skulls of the victims were split.
Two military men suspected of the crime were detained without delay. They confessed everything and talked about two more murders. The charred bodies of the men were found in the forest belt. They also died from bullets; the same cartridges were found at the scene.
It is noted that one of the suspects was previously convicted of murder, theft and a drug-related crime. Investigators are finding out the motives for the murders and all the circumstances of the case.
