An analysis of the effectiveness of the activities of Kaluga local government bodies based on the results of 2023 indicates positive dynamics for most indicators. This conclusion was made in the report of the mayor Dmitry Denisov, published on the city government website.
Among the areas in which there has been growth is city budget revenues. Tax and non-tax revenues in 2023 amounted to 7,134.3 million rubles. This is 9.5% more than 2022 revenues. After the “garage amnesty,” the area of land plots subject to taxation increased by 0.23%.
After replacing the worn out top layer of asphalt on 18.6 kilometers of roads, the proportion of roads that did not meet regulatory requirements decreased. After the commissioning of the school on Ermolovskaya Street, budget expenditures on general education per student increased.
