In June, Sber will open a smart light and music fountain in Smolensk. The artistic director and general director of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters, Valery Gergiev, will speak at the opening of the multimedia fountain. President and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank German Gref announced this at the opening of the fountain in Orel.

— This year we will open, probably, 6-7 fountains. And in June we are opening a park and fountain in Smolensk. There will be an anniversary of Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka, the great Russian composer. We agreed with Valery Gergiev, the head of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theaters, and the governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin that we will present a concert to the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theaters, and after that we will open a beautiful fountain and a new park for city residents.
Yesterday, April 25, Sber opened a smart light and music fountain in Orel. It is located in the historical center of the city on a movable floating platform at the confluence of two rivers – Oka and Orlik – opposite the Children’s Park and the Orlovskaya Fortress park. The large-scale fountain complex – 80 meters long and 20 meters wide – uses the latest technological solutions. The fountain releases 130 jets up to 35 meters high into the sky. It is equipped with a laser, an LED lighting system and a projector for displaying videos and images, including educational content, on the water screen.
