On Friday, April 26, a joint meeting of the headquarters for monitoring and prompt response to price changes and the working group to prevent unreasonable increases in the cost of food products was held in Kaluga. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

Over the week, prices for cucumbers fell in the region – by 1.88%, chicken eggs – by 1.64%, sunflower oil – by 1.23%, chilled and frozen chicken – by 1.20%, cookies – by 1.13%, granulated sugar – by 0.93%.

But prices for the following goods increased: beets – by 5.14%, potatoes – by 3.24%, millet – by 1.80%, tomatoes – by 1.75%, white cabbage – by 1.51.

Over the past week, in the Kaluga region, among neighboring regions, minimum prices were observed for chilled and frozen chicken, sunflower oil, sterilized whole drinking milk with 2.5-3.3% fat content, powdered milk mixtures for baby food, canned vegetables for baby food, sugar sand, table salt, buckwheat, apples, bananas“, says the press service of the regional government.
