Analysts from the high-paying job search service SuperJob interviewed representatives of enterprises and organizations from Ryazan to find out whether applicants embellish their skills in their resumes.
According to recruiters, applicants most often embellish their professional skills (every second company representative encountered this kind of “inaccuracy”), experience (36% of respondents) and functional responsibilities (29%). Another 25% of recruiters encountered candidates who overestimated their level of knowledge of specialized software, 17% of HR officers exposed applicants who distorted personal data, and 12% had to expose those who claimed to be fluent in a foreign language.
Only 9% of Ryazan recruiters have never encountered “inaccuracies” in their resumes.
