The air temperature in St. Petersburg was below the climate norm for nine days, but the period of cold weather is coming to an end. The city’s chief weather forecaster, Alexander Kolesov, shared an optimistic forecast on April 26.
Starting this Friday, the temperature anomaly should already be positive, since the night was quite warm, the weather forecaster writes in his Telegram channel.
The air temperature during the daytime hours will rise to +10 …+15 degreesand on April 29 even before +20 degrees, definitely exceeding the norm. It is noted that the next two nights will be relatively cold, and there may even be a slight minus in the Leningrad region.
The weather prospects for the long weekend, according to Kolesov, are very pleasant: minimal precipitation and fairly warm air.
