Bryansk Province | Bryansk joined the all-Russian event “St. George’s Ribbon”

Bryansk joined the all-Russian St. George’s Ribbon campaign. This was reported in the press service of the city administration. The day before, regional leaders, volunteers, students, schoolchildren and members of the Youth Army gathered on Military Glory Square.

Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz and other honored guests paid tribute to the memory of Soviet soldiers who participated in the Great Patriotic War and soldiers of the Northern Military District. St. George ribbons were attached to the clothes of the youngest participants in the action – pupils of kindergarten No. 68.

A large-scale canvas was unfurled on the square – a huge St. George ribbon. Participants of the action laid flowers at the “City of Military Glory” stele. The first ribbons as part of the campaign were distributed at the Mound of Immortality.
