Moscow. 26 April. INTERFAX – The program for creating job placements (MPT) has expanded 1.5 times since the beginning of this year, reports the press service of the capital’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

“The volume of agreed construction within the framework of the program to stimulate the creation of places of employment (MPT) increased by 1.5 times compared to 2023,” the report says, citing Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov.

He clarified that in total investors will build more than 160 objects under the program, their total area will exceed 4.5 million sq.m. Since the beginning of the year, the city has concluded 26 agreements with them on the construction of more than 1.4 million square meters of real estate, the department added.

“In particular, agreements were signed on the construction of three industrial complexes with a total area of ​​more than 183 thousand square meters in the Northern Administrative District, the Western Administrative District and the TiNAO. Thus, the volume of agreed industrial construction in the first quarter of 2024 more than doubled compared to 2023 “, – noted in turn the head of the department Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Also in the capital there will be 52 office centers and 15 shopping centers, six innovation centers, nine logistics complexes and three sports complexes, two clinics, a museum and children’s educational institutions.

The program to stimulate the creation of places of employment has been implemented since 2020 and has covered all districts of Moscow. The city authorities have concluded more than 90 agreements with investors for the construction of over 4.5 million square meters of real estate. As a result, over 210 thousand jobs will appear. The volume of investments will exceed 1.4 trillion rubles.
