In the center of Sevastopol, the fountains will start operating on May 1, the rest will be launched on the 6th. The authorities spoke about such plans at a meeting of the local Government on Thursday, April 25. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said that, according to the Regional Management Center, many Sevastopol residents are interested in when the city fountains will start working.

EVGENY GORLOV, And. O. Deputy Governor of Sevastopol:

“Today we have 30 fountains in the city. Everyone is technically ready. A procedure is currently being carried out to determine the organization that will maintain, operate and carry out conservation after the completion of all fountains. Now the bidding procedure is underway, the fountains are all ready for launch. Some fountains require the work of programmers and inspection of equipment, that is, from the moment of launch, commissioning [работы]initial launches must be carried out, but everything is ready for us.

– Is it possible to launch everything by May 1st?

– In the central part, yes, Mikhail Vladimirovich.

– And the rest?

– We will launch everything by the 6th.

– How many do we have in total, 30 fountains?

– 30 fountains. Of these, 26 are serviced by the State Budgetary Institution “Parks and Squares”, 4 fountains are served by municipal districts. We all work in sync.

– And including new ones?

– Yes, all new ones will be launched».

“– Well, that’s it, then let’s do the central part on May 1st, the rest, which are being completed, by the 6th, so that by the pre-holiday week, before May 9th, all the fountains will already be working.
