Deputy of the State Assembly Maria El headed the ANO “Khokhloma” in the Nizhny Novgorod region

Ekaterina Vakhitova headed the ANO “Management Company for the Development of Khokhloma Painting” (ANO “Khokhloma”), as follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

The organization was registered in Semenov, Nizhny Novgorod region on April 11, 2024. Founder – Nizhny Novgorod region.

Prior to her appointment, Vakhitova had been the Managing Director of TNS Energy Nizhny Novgorod PJSC since 2020. She is also a current deputy of the State Assembly of Mari El (United Russia). It should be noted that the powers of the current, seventh, convocation of the meeting expire in September 2024.

Let us remind you that the ANO “Management Company for the Development of Khokhloma Painting” will only promote the fishery. The enterprise itself will remain in its previous form of ownership – a joint stock company. In March 2024, 30 million rubles were allocated for the activities of the ANO.

Let us also recall that JSC Khokhloma Painting became the property of the region at the end of 2023, when the former wife of the ex-head of Nizhny Novgorod Oleg Sorokin, Elada Nagornaya, donated her shares to the regional government.

When visiting the enterprise in April 2024, Governor Gleb Nikitin promised that employees’ salaries would be increased. However, this has not happened yet.
