The jury found murderers-for-hire guilty

In Kaliningrad, in a regional court, jurors returned a guilty verdict in a criminal case.

Two defendants were found guilty of murder for hire, illegal possession of firearms and explosives.

The defendants agreed to commit murder for financial reward. On April 2, 2020, they murdered a 34-year-old Kaliningrad resident near his home. The accused illegally stored several firearms, ammunition and explosives in the basement.

State prosecutors have fully proven the guilt of the defendants. Based on the jury’s verdict, the court will decide the sentence.
