The heads of the Siberian Bank Sberbank and the head of the Altai Republic discussed the development of the region

In particular, they discussed the use of data visualization systems in government administration and the tourism industry for a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of the tasks facing the republic. At the meeting, attention was also paid to the implementation of digital solutions from the Sber Group of Companies in the social and medical spheres.

For example, we considered the implementation of the “Resident Card of the Altai Republic” project, which will allow residents to use one bank card to receive social benefits and services, and quickly learn about all available social support measures. The leaders of Siberian Sberbank presented medical solutions with artificial intelligence – a digital medical assistant and equipment for decoding ECG MDDC Cardio. These developments will increase the availability of qualified medical care for residents of the region.

At the meeting, the results of the bank’s work in the Altai Republic for 2023 were also announced. The volume of Sber investments directed to the region amounted to 92 billion rubles. The bank serves 4.8 thousand legal entities registered in the republic. Their loan portfolio reached 1.2 billion rubles. And residents of the region received more than 1.3 thousand mortgage loans from Sberbank last year.

I am confident that new investments and projects, including the digital transformation of the region, will open up additional development opportunities for residents and business communities of the republic,” said Dmitry Solntsev, Chairman of the Siberian Bank Sberbank.

“The Altai Republic is actively developing the digital economy. At the end of last year, the digital maturity indicator for the region was 79.7% against the planned value of 70.5%. The number of settlements where mobile communications and the Internet are appearing is increasing, which means that Sber’s digital solutions presented at the meeting may be in demand for a large number of our residents and organizations,” explained the head of the Altai Republic Oleg Khorokhordin.
