And in the Yaroslavl region, architectural lighting will be installed on another 28 monuments
Now the authorities are looking for contractors. Work to illuminate a number of monument buildings in the Yaroslavl region was estimated at 213 million rubles. The customer is the Ministry of Regional Development of the Yaroslavl Region. According to the draft contract, the contractor will have 125 days from the date of conclusion of the contract to install architectural lighting for monument buildings.
We are talking about both regional and federal monuments. There are a total of 28 objects on the list. Thus, in Yaroslavl, the House of Charity for Neighbors, the bell tower of the Cathedral of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Tolga Monastery, as well as the monastery wall itself with the holy gates on the northwestern to southwestern tower will be illuminated. Also on the Yaroslavl list are the Church of the Tikhvin Mother of God, the Church of the Annunciation and the building of the “Giant” club, now known as the Palace of Youth.
In Rybinsk, the building of a commercial school, the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Nikolsky House will be illuminated. In Rostov there are only shopping arcades. There are many objects in Tutaev – the Holy Cross Cathedral, the Archangel Church of the Savior, the Kazan Church and the Zherebtsov House.
In Pereslavl-Zalessky, the Church of the Intercession with its bell tower and the Transfiguration Cathedral will be illuminated.
In Uglich: Epiphany Cathedral, Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral with a bell tower, the Church of Flora and Lavra, the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist with a bell tower and the Kazan Church with a bell tower. They will also install lighting on the Church of Elijah the Prophet in the Uglich region.
In Lyubim, the list included the Church of Our Lady of Kazan, as well as the bell tower at the Epiphany Cathedral; in Gavrilov-Yama, a residential building from the ensemble of Lokalov’s house will be illuminated, and in Nekrasovskoye, the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary “Quench My Sorrows.”
True, this is not all the plans of the authorities. Simultaneously with the monuments, it is planned to install architectural lighting at another 13 objects. 79 million 726 thousand rubles have been allocated for these works. The work period is also shorter – 65 days from the date of signing the contract. In Yaroslavl, this applies only to the second stage of lighting the Oktyabrsky Bridge – lights will be installed on the internal spans.
In Rybinsk, a puppet theater and a youth palace will be illuminated, in Pereslavl a monument to Dostoevsky, in Gavrilov-Yama a children’s art school, in Danilov a cultural development center, in Myshkin – the Myshkin Tourism Center “Myshkin Chambers”. In Bolshoye Selo the center for the development and preservation of culture will be illuminated, in Borisoglebsky the administration building, in Breytovo the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist will be illuminated. In Novy Nekouz, lighting will appear on the building of a children’s music school, in Prechistoye the administration building of the Pervomaisky district will be illuminated, and in the village of Ermakovo there will be a cultural center.
In both cases, contractors will be determined on May 17.
