Teply Stan – Sobyanin decided on additional support for industrial enterprises

Industrial enterprises can now compensate for part of the costs of paying leasing payments, the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel.

The Moscow Fund for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship was allocated 400 million rubles, which helps attract about 2.5 billion investments for the modernization of city enterprises. The amount of financial support will depend on the interest rate under the leasing agreement and will amount to no more than 300 million rubles over three years when purchasing domestic equipment and no more than 100 million when purchasing imported equipment.

The institution will have to use and then buy back the equipment purchased under the leasing agreement.

Also, as part of the preferential lending program, the Moscow Fund for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship will compensate the interest rate on loans for connecting (technological connection) of industrial facilities to engineering support systems or increasing their technological capacity.

The program to support urban industry was approved by the Moscow Government in 2022 and provides a preferential interest rate on loans for investment purposes in the amount of three percent per annum with a maximum loan amount of three billion rubles.

Last year, more than 40 industrial companies took advantage of this program. They attracted preferential loans worth 105 billion rubles. With this money, more than 700 pieces of equipment were purchased, more than 900 thousand square meters of production premises were built, and more than 15 thousand jobs were created.

It is also reported that for every ruble allocated under the preferential investment lending program, up to 55 rubles of private investment are allocated.
