Yesterday, April 25, the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev held a meeting of the regional anti-terrorism commission, where issues of ensuring the safety of Donetsk residents during the holidays were discussed.
It is noted that parks and squares in the region are already starting to operate on a summer schedule.
“The governor demanded that an additional set of security measures be implemented during the holidays, and also recommended limiting the number of public events held in open areas,” the government press center quotes Vasily Golubev as saying.
Earlier it became known that for security reasons the procession of the “Immortal Regiment” was canceled. This year it will be held online.
It was also reported that in Rostov the Victory Parade on May 9 could take place without spectators; in Novocherkassk it was completely canceled.
