17-year-old teenagers detained in the city of Volzhsky spoke in detail about how they prepared for terrorist attacks on the territory of the Volgograd region. Information about how they managed to get on the trail of the attackers was also shared by operational officers of the Russian FSB. Security forces distributed operational footage on April 26.
– It was established that one of the leaders of the terrorist organization, Russian citizen Roman Aleksandrovich Zheleznov. involves minors in terrorist activities on the territory of the Russian Federation. Namely: at the direction of the Ukrainian special services, through the Internet, the specified person induces teenagers to commit direct actions: attacks on persons of non-Slavic nationality, law enforcement officers, damage and destruction of property belonging to them. Subsequently, Zheleznov supplied them with instructions and weapons, means of terror, and used them to organize terrorist attacks, including against government facilities.
Previously, a criminal case was initiated against Roman Zheleznov under Art. 359 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – mercenarism. The Federal Security Service also published video footage of the same Zheleznov in question.

The young Volga residents themselves gave confessions to the security forces at the time of their arrest. The news agency “Height 102” publishes a transcript of the communication between the detainees and representatives of law enforcement agencies.

– I wrote to the bot and then sent them a video of me beating a car. I chose cars by stickers, by distinctive signs in the form of non-Russian flags and flags of other countries.
According to the Russian FSB, from March to November 2023, at the direction of Ukrainian curators, teenagers damaged 16 cars with symbols of support for a special military operation, as well as cars belonging to people from the North Caucasus and Central Asian regions.
A criminal case has been initiated against the Volga residents under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 – participation in the activities of a terrorist organization. They are detained.
