A mother of many children from the village of Kyshtovka, Novosibirsk region, is being asked to deprive her of parental rights. The woman is raising four sons and a daughter. A few days ago, she and her brother attacked three men and started a stabbing. One of the Siberians died.

Let us remind you that the fight took place on April 21. Three men called a taxi, but the driver did not come to them alone. With him were his acquaintances Elena* and Oleg*, who were brother and sister to each other. When passengers did not share seats in the car, a fight broke out.

Oleg rushed at the men with a knife, Elena also rushed at them with her fists. One received fatal wounds from a knife and died in hospital, two are in serious condition.

Elena’s partner was also among the victims. While he is in a medical institution, his relatives want to take away the woman’s two older sons.

According to them, the children live with their grandmother all the time. Five-year-old Vanya* and four-year-old Danya* have been with her since birth. The pensioner took the kids in with her when their mother was first sent to prison for theft. Then one child was one year old, and the second was only a month old.

While the woman was serving her sentence, the grandmother taught the children to talk and walk. When they grew up, I sent them to kindergarten.

“Lena left prison and was not even interested in the fate of the children. I took it to my home a couple of times. Then she started drinking again, and she forgot about the boys“, one of Elena’s relatives shared with KP-Novosibirsk.

This winter, the mother made an agreement with the boys’ grandmother and began taking them home on weekends. When the pensioner needed surgery, she asked Elena to take the children away for a while. But the Siberian woman did not deal with them.

After the stabbing, Elena was not detained; she is being investigated as a witness in the murder case. Her brother Oleg took all the blame. Three children are currently in a juvenile detention center, and two more are with their grandmother. The youngest, who is only one year old, is in the hospital.

“We have already gone to the guardianship authorities, but they again see no grounds for deprivation or restriction of rights. Plus, Lena continues to receive benefits, and the children do not live with her. She doesn’t give money to Vanya and Dana, and her grandmother’s pension is small, so it’s hard for her to attract boys. We will arrange guardianship for you”, says the publication’s interlocutor.
