They plan to build a sambo center in Tomsk. The project will cost the city 10 million rubles

In Tomsk they are planning to build a large sambo center; they want to locate it next to the Yunost sports complex on Karl Marx Street. The city allocated 13 million rubles for the design, but the Tomsk company NPO Stroy Expert offered to carry out the work for 9.9 million.

In early April, Tomsk Mayor Dmitry Makhinya announced that the city had launched an auction for the development of a sambo center project; At the same time, he noted that the facility could be used as a sports center for various sports, mainly for martial arts.

According to government procurement information, the initial (maximum) price of the contract for the implementation of design and survey work for the construction of a sambo center was set at 13.44 million rubles.

As follows from the government procurement information, six organizations submitted applications to participate in the auction. One of the participants offered to carry out the design for 9.9 million rubles, and this application became the winner the day before.

A representative of the mayor’s office clarified to vtomske.ru that Tomsk designers NPO Stroy Expert LLC won the auction. “We are now at the stage of signing a municipal contract,” the administration noted.

The center, as previously reported by the mayor, is planned to be located on free territory next to the Yunost sports complex – on Karl Marx Street, 50a.

According to the technical specifications, the center building will be brick, two-story with a basement. It will house the main (competition hall) sports hall with an area for three mats measuring 14×14 meters, including security zones, and stands for 200 spectators on the ground floor. The total size of the area with carpets, taking into account the safety zones, is 15×39 meters. Also in the center on the second floor there will be a training room with two carpets of 14×14 meters, a gym of at least 130 square meters, a general physical training room of at least 60 square meters. The height of the main hall is at least 6 meters, the training hall is at least 4.2 meters, and the ground floor is at least 2.8 meters.

According to the mayor, funds for the construction of the facility, if there is a ready-made project, were promised to be allocated from the federal budget.
