Russian special operation in Ukraine

They did not want to pay compensation to a resident of Tyumen who was wounded in a special operation due to the fact that at the time of leaving for the North Military District the man did not live in the region. The prosecutor of the Tyumen region reports this.

“It was established that the provision of this measure of support to the applicant was denied due to the fact that the fact of his residence in the Tyumen region on the date of commencement of participation in the SVO was not confirmed, and there was no registration at the place of residence or stay,” the department reported. Subsequently, the man’s residence in the region was confirmed.

The regional government has established a procedure for payment for combat wounds during the SVO in April 2022. The amount of compensation is one million rubles. At the moment, the court has satisfied the request of the prosecutor’s office and the Tyumen resident can count on receiving funds.
