New machines for checking payment cards have been installed in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the Center for the Development of Transport Systems (CDTS).

The self-service machines installed in the station lobbies belong to CityCard LLC. With their help, passengers can check their balance and record pending replenishment on their transport card. To do this, simply select the appropriate function on the terminal screen and attach the card to the reader.

Previously, DOMOSTROYNN.RU reported that metro builders moved 95% of the electrical networks to Freedom Square. In addition, workers are moving water and sewer lines, laying pipes at considerable depth. The Freedom Square metro station will be a continuation of the Avtozavodskaya line. The work is planned to be completed by the end of 2025.
