A shell from the Great Patriotic War was found in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd in the village of Tsentralny-2.
“I was walking home and found a time shell in a ravine 15 meters from a residential building,” says Slava. – Yesterday I called the sappers, they still haven’t arrived. By April 26, the shell was still there. My colleague said it was a live round and could explode.
A Volgograd resident reported information about the dangerous find to emergency services. Usually, the pyrotechnic crew of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations from Rostov-on-Don is engaged in demining aerial bombs. Other shells are dealt with by military sappers.
One of the last cases of finding shells from the Second World War occurred in the Chernyshkovsky district. There, on a farming plot, we came across a mine.
