In Rybnoye, police uncovered the theft of a cell phone from a local resident

A 43-year-old woman’s phone went missing from her apartment. Police officers found out that she and two of her friends were celebrating a personal holiday. One of the guests was going to the store and saw an acquaintance at the entrance. This man was known to the three of them. After a quarrel with his wife, he left home and recently wandered around the city. A group of friends took pity on the man and invited him into the house to feed him. After drinking and eating, he left. After some time, the owner of the apartment wanted to take her phone, which she had set to charge, but the smartphone was not there. Apart from this man, there were no strangers in the apartment.

Having found out the name and characteristics of the victim’s random guest, the investigators began searching for a person of no fixed abode. Soon the police found the man on the streets of the city of Rybnoye. He was detained. The defendant is a 39-year-old man who has previously been repeatedly convicted of theft.

The investigator opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
