During the event, the mayor of the regional capital answered the question of when the heating will be turned off in the city. According to Dmitry Naumov, documents to complete the heating season are already being prepared and will soon be signed:
“Today there are certain requirements for ensuring heat supply to the population, the guideline is that the average daily temperature for at least five days should be more than 8 degrees Celsius. To do this, we asked the hydrometeorological services for a weather forecast. We were given that cold weather is expected in early May, but They were unable to confirm whether it will be longer than 5 days or not. Therefore, a decision has been made and today they will sign the relevant documents about the end of the heating season. From the nearest date, a resolution is being prepared by specialists. We have heat supply organizations involved in these services, and accounting is being done. I hope that we will turn off the heating this week, but the hydrometeorological services are scaring us with snow at the beginning of next month. Of course, the weather forecast may be rewritten, and we really hope so, because turning it on is much more difficult than turning it off,” – shared the mayor of the city.
It also became known that on Saturday, April 27, the heating season will end in the city of Raduzhny in accordance with the decree of the administration. In order to preserve network water in heating systems, heating shutdowns in residential buildings and social and cultural facilities will be carried out in stages, in accordance with the schedule.
Earlier, in early April, when a real abnormal heat wave hit the region, the heating was not turned off in the city. The end date of the heating season could not be announced, Vladimirteplogaz reported, since it differs from year to year. The date varies from the end of April to the second half of May.
This caused irritation among residents of the region. In local public pages, residents do not skimp on complaints. Residents note that it is impossible to be at home at this time. It’s so hot at night that sleep seems like an unattainable dream.
“Vladimir News” once again clarified with the administration about when the heating shutdown is predicted. However, the administration assured the same answer – at the moment, the average daily temperature of +8 degrees has not been maintained for 5 days. Also, worsening weather conditions and colder temperatures are predicted in the near future, and therefore we do not intend to turn off the heating in the near future.
Apparently, residents’ complaints have reached the administration and we hope that soon residents will be able to breathe deeply in their homes, and not suffocate from the heat.
