Cows fell ill in the Pryazhinsky district. A quarantine was introduced there.

An epizootic outbreak of parainfluenza-3 in cattle arose in the Pryazhinsky district, this was reported by the Republican Veterinary and Consulting Center. Calves are usually affected; in adults, the disease is asymptomatic.

The regional Ministry of Agriculture introduced restrictive measures (quarantine). Measures stipulated by veterinary legislation are also being carried out aimed at eliminating the epizootic focus and preventing the spread of the disease pathogen.

Parainfluenza-3 of cattle is an acute contagious viral disease, mainly of calves, characterized by fever, conjunctivitis and catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, in severe cases with damage to the lungs.
