The 9000th child was born at the Tula Perinatal Center

On Sunday, April 21, doctors at the perinatal center gave birth to a 26-year-old Tula woman. The 9,000th child was born at the medical facility. The girl, weighing 3,390 grams and 53 centimeters tall, was named Liliya. She became the first child in the family of Diana and Alexander. The mother and baby were discharged home the day before.

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the region Natalia Zykova congratulated Tula residents on the birth of their daughter. She presented the couple with a birth certificate, a congratulatory address from Governor Alexei Dyumin, a sign “Born on Tula Land” and a gift set for the child.

Natalia Zykova emphasized that, at the initiative of the head of the region, great attention is paid to supporting motherhood and childhood. The new building of the perinatal center has all the conditions for mothers and newborns. Construction of kindergartens and playgrounds is underway, and school medicine is being developed.

“There is a whole range of measures to support families with children, which you can find out about by calling 129,” the deputy minister added.
