Since April 26, the powers of the head of the Khomutovsky municipal formation of the Irkutsk region have been fulfilled by the first deputy head of the administration, Alexey Ivanenko. On April 25, the Duma of the Khomutovsky Moscow Region accepted the resignation of Vasily Kolmachenko at your own request.

Early elections for the head of the administration of the Khomutovsky District will take place in the fall of 2024. This was reported by the press service of the mayor’s office of the Irkutsk region.

Earlier it became known that the powers of the head of the Ushakovsky municipal formation of the Irkutsk region will be performed by Alexander Safiulin. The decision on this was made by the municipality council on April 25. The powers of the previous head were terminated early due to a personal statement due to health conditions. Early elections will also take place in the fall of 2024.
