On April 25 at 21.30 an accident occurred on the Tsivilsk-Ulyanovsk highway in the Tsilninsky district.
According to preliminary data from the traffic police, the 37-year-old driver of a Kia Cerato was turning left and crashed into a Lada Priora car moving in the oncoming lane. It was driven by a 22-year-old young man. The Priora bounced off the impact and crashed into a standing Lada Granta car, driven by a 38-year-old man.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Priora was hospitalized. His 21-year-old passenger was taken to a medical facility. Doctors treated the patient and sent him home.
The traffic police noted that the alleged culprit of the accident was sober, and received a driver’s license 4 years ago. The hospitalized driver has three years of driving experience.
