A car and a motorcyclist collided in the center of Kaliningrad; the biker was taken to the hospital. A source in the region’s emergency services told Klops about this, and eyewitnesses told the details.
The accident occurred on April 25 at about 19:30 at the intersection of Sovetsky Prospekt and st. Tchaikovsky. As the witness said, the bike was driving in a straight line towards the square, the car was turning towards Tchaikovsky.
“I only saw the moment of the collision – it turns out that at the moment of the turn the car blocked the lane where the motorcyclist was driving. The biker did not have time to brake or go around. He fell, it’s good that he was in full gear. I saw him take off his helmet and was conscious. There was also a man driving the car, but he was not seriously injured. The biker was taken by ambulance to the hospital,” said the witness.
According to a source in the region’s emergency services, a 36-year-old Kaliningrad resident was taken to the emergency hospital with bruises on his back, shoulder and hip, a concussion and a forehead hematoma.
