The men sold more than 76 thousand unlabeled tobacco products with a total value of about 10 million rubles.

The prosecutor’s office of the Volgograd region sent to court a criminal case regarding the illegal trafficking of unlabeled tobacco products worth about 10 million rubles. Three local residents are accused of committing the crime. The prosecutor’s office of the Volgograd region reported this to Gorodskiye Vesti.

It is known that over the course of several years – from November 2022 to February 2024 – the defendants purchased more than 76 thousand packs of unlabeled tobacco products of various brands. The total cost of the “ban” is about 10 million rubles.

The defendants stored the products in a rented garage in the Traktorozavodsky district. Subsequently, counterfeit cigarettes were sold at various retail outlets.

Unlabeled products were confiscated. The men fully admitted their guilt. They face up to 6 years in prison.
