Irkutskstat: In the first quarter of 2024, 38% more housing was commissioned in the Irkutsk region than in the first quarter of 2023

In the first quarter of 2024, housing with a total area of ​​495.8 thousand square meters was commissioned in the Irkutsk region, which is 38.3% more than in the same period in 2023, reports Irkutskstat.

A significant increase (43.3%) was noted in rural areas; these territories account for more than half (66.7%) of the total input. Houses are also being actively built in urban settlements (an increase of 29.3%).

As last year, individual housing construction is at a high pace, increasing by 42.8%. The population, at their own expense and with the help of loans, built 428.1 thousand square meters, this is 86.3% of housing commissioned in the region, some of the houses were built on their own summer cottages (an increase of 74.5%). Developer organizations increased the volume of delivery by 15.4%.

Among the municipalities of the region, the Irkutsk district is consistently in the lead both in terms of the total area of ​​constructed housing and per 1000 residents. Individual houses and apartment buildings with a total area of ​​271 thousand sq.m., 1,613 square meters per 1,000 residents, were commissioned here, which is eight times higher than the regional level (212.7 sq.m.).

The second and third places in housing commissioning (taking into account the number of residents) are occupied by the Shelekhovsky and Olkhonsky districts, where 484 and 482 sq.m. per 1000 population were completed turnkey, respectively.

In the first quarter of 2024, construction work worth 44.1 billion rubles was completed in the Angara region, 3,668 buildings were commissioned, of which 88 were non-residential (industrial, commercial, educational, administrative and others).
