After Avdeev’s announcement about the reconstruction of the airport, the authorities revealed the reason for the emergency meeting of deputies

On April 26, an extraordinary meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region was held. During the event, the main agenda was the adoption of the law “On amendments to the Law of the Vladimir Region “On the regional budget for 2024 and for the planning period of 2025 and 2026”, taking into account the amendments.

After the meeting of the Legislative Assembly, Roman Kavinov, deputy chairman of the Legislative Assembly, explained why deputies were urgently gathered to sign changes to the law. As it turned out, this is directly related to the reconstruction of the airport, which was announced by the governor:

“In fact, this was done, including so that our region would be included in one of the federal programs, according to which funds will be provided for the development of the airport system of the Russian Federation, we believe that this is one of the growth points in perspective of our region”, – said the deputy chairman.

Let us recall that earlier in the government building of the Vladimir region a briefing was held by the regional governor, Alexander Avdeev, during which the head of the region announced the reconstruction of the Semyazino airport in Vladimir. On April 22, a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation was signed on the temporary transfer of the airport to the ownership of the Vladimir region for the period of reconstruction.

According to the governor, the cost of reconstruction will cost approximately 5 billion rubles. Now the government has allocated 1 billion rubles for reconstruction. The entire project will be distributed in terms of expenses as follows – 50% is invested by the region, 25% by the federal budget and 25% by a certain investor, which will be announced during the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.
