A 40-year-old man hid almost one and a half kilograms of drugs in a safe. This became known to 78.ru.
A Petersburg resident lives in an apartment at house No. 59/1 on Novocherkassky Avenue. A couple of days ago they raided his place and searched him. Operatives found a safe under the table containing three plastic bags. One of them contained amphetamine. The contents of other packages were sent for examination. The man was taken to the police department.
Law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case under Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Drugs”). The man was sent to a temporary detention center. It was established that the detainee had already been prosecuted for fraud and drugs. An inspection is underway.
Earlier, 78.ru wrote that two St. Petersburg residents were detained near Veliky Novgorod with 13 kg of mephedrone.
