In the center of Rostov, due to a gust on a heating main, hundreds of citizens were left without hot water

In Rostov, on the heating main along Universitetsky Lane near house No. 129, a gust occurred. As the regional Minister of Housing and Communal Services Sergei Sizikov reported in his Telegram channel, in connection with this there will be no hot water in houses from Pushkinskaya to Malyugina.

He added that a team from Rostov Heating Networks is working on the spot and promises to eliminate the utility accident by the evening.

Let us remind you that during the heating season, which lasted from October 1, 2023 to April 6, 2024, 161 emergencies occurred in Rostov. The largest number of emergencies were recorded in the heating networks of Teplokommunenergo JSC – 96, in Rostov Heating Networks – 65.

One of the last utility accidents occurred on April 1 in the Voroshilovsky district of Rostov. Then, due to a defect in the heating main along Volkova Street, 34 apartment buildings were left without hot water and heat. But the accident was eliminated by nightfall of the same day.

According to Sergei Sizikov, a large-scale reconstruction of heating networks is expected in Rostov this summer, which will affect hundreds of thousands of people. But people will not be left without hot water, the minister assured.
