The man received a stab wound to the chest

A 40-year-old resident of the Kurgan region will be sent to a general regime colony for three years and four months for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm. For another year her freedom will be limited.

At the end of September last year, during a quarrel, she attacked her roommate with a kitchen knife. The man received a stab wound to the chest, reports the press service of the Kurgan Region Prosecutor’s Office.

The woman’s lawyer considered the verdict of the Kargapol District Court too harsh and tried to challenge it, calling the client’s actions self-defense, but the appeal was rejected.
