The government of Sevastopol adopted a resolution to provide financial assistance to individuals whose property was damaged as a result of a massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the night of March 23-24. In accordance with the resolution, 2 million 239 thousand rubles will be allocated from the reserve fund to Sevastopol residents affected by shelling.

These funds will be used to provide financial assistance to 66 individuals. These are 47 people whose houses were damaged and 19 car owners. Owners of vehicles damaged as a result of the shelling will receive the amount of 1 million 298 thousand rubles.

Financial assistance in the amount of 941,1500 rubles for the loss of property (mainly, according to the director of the department of labor and social protection Elena Sulyagina, these are double-glazed windows and doors) will be received by 47 people.

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev emphasized that he instructed the commissions to examine all cases individually and pay not a fixed amount, but rather one commensurate with the damage.

“This is not the last allocation of funds; our colleagues have already prepared a draft of the next resolution,” noted the head of the city.
