Project for the restoration of the building of the Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic named after. It is planned to send Rostropovich for state examination after the May holidays.

As a correspondent of NIA Nizhny Novgorod reports, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Oleg Berkovich stated this at the KUPNO on April 26 during the presentation of the event program “Cultural Capital 2024”.

It is planned to restore the auditorium in the Philharmonic building, in particular, improve the acoustics, and also renovate the dressing rooms.

“The cost of restoration work will become known closer to the end of July. After that, we will ask Governor Gleb Nikitin to allocate funds for these purposes as early as 2025,” explained the deputy head of the region.
