A youth volunteer group was created and began to operate at the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in the city of Kurgan. The new association was headed by parishioner Anna Mitrofanova.

In less than a month of work, volunteers have already proven themselves. They tidied up the temple area: they cleaned and covered the benches with paint and varnish, and removed the grass from the paths.

Volunteers also helped with cleaning inside the cathedral: they cleaned the temple chandeliers – the chandelier – from soot and dust.

“Future plans include cleaning the bell tower and preparing street decorations. And, of course, participation in pre-Easter and Easter services, assistance in organizing festive events. We invite everyone to take part in the preparations for Easter and join our Telegram channel https://t.me/+duSOA1Ylx002ZjMy” – said Anna Mitrofanova.
