Individuals and entrepreneurs have purchased 91 real estate properties in the Central Administrative District since the beginning of 2024. Some of them are located in historical buildings.
“Based on the results of the first quarter of 2024, individuals and entrepreneurs entered into 91 purchase and sale agreements for real estate in the center of the capital with a total area of 16.71 thousand square meters,” said Maxim Gaman, head of the Moscow City Property Department.
Most of the purchased premises are located in basements, on the ground and attic floors of non-residential buildings and apartment buildings. They have a free purpose, which allows them to be used for various commercial purposes – for opening shops, cafes, distribution points, and additional education institutions.
The Moscow mayor’s website reported that ten premises acquired from the city with an area of 1.66 thousand square meters are located in cultural heritage sites. New owners are required to ensure the safety of monuments during operation.
The Moscow investment portal serves as a showcase for real estate sold by the city. In the “Property from the City” section, all the necessary information about the lots is published: photographs, documentation, conditions and form of sale.
