In the Voronezh region, road surfaces will be strengthened to avoid the negative consequences of temperature changes. This was stated during a live broadcast on the official public pages of the government of the Voronezh region by the regional minister of road activities Maxim Oskin.
To ensure the strength of the coating, a more stable mixture of active elements with bitumen will be developed. The immediate plans include the repair of regional roads, primarily in the “backbone network” (highways at 25 points with high traffic leading to social facilities).
By the way, since 2017, as part of the national project “Safe and High-Quality Highways”, about 3 thousand km of highways have been restored in the region.
Also, the Minister of Road Activities of the Voronezh Region, Maxim Oskin, named the main factors influencing the repair of highways: the capacity of the highway, the movement of transit transport, the presence of tourist routes, the existence of social facilities that attract the population, ensuring connections with nearby regional centers and other regions, the need to pass school routes.
