Rosneft has updated the pavilion at the Russia exhibition
The exhibition space, created according to the author’s design project specifically for the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”, is divided into thematic zones, which are equipped with multimedia and interactive exhibits. Almost two thousand square meters are dedicated to the company’s flagship projects and unique technologies.
At the center of the updated exhibition is a core, rock samples with invaluable information for geologists. In the samples obtained during Rosneft’s scientific Arctic expeditions, one can see fossils of ancient fish and insects, and even amber from the East Siberian Sea – the harshest in the Arctic Ocean. The age of the rocks presented ranges from 23 to 470 million years.
The interactive installation continues with the drilling rig of the flagship Vostok Oil project. You can move to the western edge of the Taimyr Peninsula in just a couple of seconds using a QR code – and see with your own eyes a unique Russian development in action. The model comes to life with the help of augmented reality – special vehicles, a gas turbine power plant, supply vessels in the port and a rotation camp appear around. To produce oil, Vostok Oil will use over 100 of these drilling rigs, designed specifically for the harsh conditions of the Far North.
The pavilion also has a space for creativity, which will be of interest to both adults and children. Guests of the exhibition will be able to bring to life Rosneft objects on a “digital canvas”.
The street area of the company’s pavilion has also been updated. Now here you can play chess or table tennis, or relax on the swing. Among the outdoor sports activities is bicycle shredder. By pedaling such a bicycle, you can start the process of recycling plastic. Shredded plastic chips will become recyclable materials.
In the recreation area there is also a summer open-air cinema, which will host screenings of documentaries, as well as meetings with directors. An outdoor exhibition was also organized, which presented photographs of Rosneft’s production assets, as well as footage from the Company’s scientific expeditions.
Note to gourmets: you can traditionally try the most popular dishes of the Rosneft gas station network both in the pavilion and on the street. Fragrant specialty coffee from Venezuela, freshly baked pastries and hot dogs, pancakes with various fillings, chicken wings, French fries – all this and much more is presented in the Zerno cafe in the company pavilion and in food trucks on the street. For those who like to have a snack in the fresh air, there is also a recreation area equipped with tables and chairs, benches, and a canopy.
