Workers at the Nizhny Novgorod refinery were seriously injured due to a fire

A fire occurred at the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez enterprise in the Kstovo district during work to replace plugs at about 10:20 a.m. on April 26. This was reported by the State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to the department, the flame arose due to depressurization of the technological unit. As a result, three people were injured and were urgently hospitalized with multiple injuries. The workers are currently in intensive care.

The inspection clarifies the circumstances of the emergency and checks the existence of labor relations.
