The work of seasonal weekend fairs begins in Moscow, they operate from Friday to Sunday, said the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin.
“Seasonal weekend fairs are opening in Moscow. They are conveniently located near metro stations, public transport, close to home. They are open from Friday to Sunday, from 8:00 to 20:00,” Sobyanin wrote in his Telegram channel.
He noted that previously weekend fairs were open only in the warm season, but in February they launched in a new, year-round format in pavilions.
“More than 40 regions of Russia bring their products. All goods are checked by metropolitan specialists. 18 mobile laboratories operate on site,” Sobyanin added.
