Deputy Mayor of the City, Director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services Roman Medvedev held a meeting regarding garbage collection and restoration work in areas affected by the flood.

According to the press service of the Kurgan city administration on its social networks, the meeting was attended by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, chairmen of local public associations and members of the operational headquarters, which was created to carry out emergency recovery work.

I asked my colleagues to go to the area and check where the water had receded. The microdistricts of Topolya, Uval, Osinovka, Starokomogorovka, and Cheremukhovo were inspected; We also went to Glinki, Khrapovo, Chelnokovo, and Zatobolny. The sector seniors have been given the task of monitoring the flow of water on a daily basis. Where she left, it is necessary to immediately, without delay, begin cleaning and carry out cleanup work– noted Roman Medvedev.

Let us remind you that the management divided the flooded area of ​​the city into eight sectors. Responsible persons were appointed for cleaning in each sector. A stationary headquarters will be organized on the territory of each sector, which will work with applications from citizens, pumping out basements, and drying out houses in the territories of private households. Trips to neighborhoods to clean areas where water has receded will begin next week.
