Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel that compensation for the cost of leasing payments is now included in the list of measures to support industrial enterprises.

For this purpose, the Moscow Fund for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship has been allocated 400 million rubles. These funds will make it possible to attract about 2.5 billion rubles of investment for the modernization of city enterprises.

“The amount of support will depend on the interest rate under the leasing agreement and will amount to no more than 300 million rubles over three years for the purchase of domestic equipment and no more than 100 million for the purchase of imported equipment,” the mayor explained.

Also, as part of the preferential lending program, industrialists are compensated for the interest rate on loans for connecting industrial facilities to engineering support systems or increasing their technological capacity.

The program to support urban industry began to operate at the beginning of 2022 and provides a preferential rate on loans for investment purposes in the amount of 3% per annum with a maximum loan volume of three billion rubles.

In 2023, more than 40 industrial companies have already taken advantage of this program, attracted 105 billion rubles in soft loans, which made it possible to purchase more than 700 pieces of equipment, build over 900 thousand square meters of production space and create more than 15 thousand jobs.

Each ruble allocated under the preferential investment loan program led to the attraction of up to 55 rubles of private investment.
