Guests at the Russia exhibition and forum are greeted by a new counter, complemented by a flexible multimedia screen. On it, all visitors can see videos dedicated to Yamal nature.
Stand-standers in new summer uniforms, decorated with national ornaments, are waiting for the exhibition guests at the counter. A new element of the exhibition was an elegant sledge with a trochee. Its runners are directed towards the screen, which imitates a harnessed deer running across the tundra. In this case, the deer reacts to the movements of the trochee and changes direction. This gives guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of real nomadic life.
The new element organically complements the photo zone with polar bears. Also at the Yamal stand, visitors will be treated to cloudberry marmalade and invited to take an educational quest.
– The Yamal stand is alive and constantly changing, thanks to which it does not lose its popularity among exhibition visitors. Not long ago, a wonderful spring transformation happened to us – green moss, strewn with bright flowers, suddenly grew on the snowy walls. Truly such changes, of course, are hardly possible in the conditions of our harsh climate, but at the “Russia” exhibition I want to surprise and inspire, to give guests a fairy tale,” said Evgenia Demina, chief expert of the Department of External Relations of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
