In Rostov, on April 28, festive services will be held in 55 Orthodox churches. This was reported by city ​​manager Alexey Logvinenko in his telegram channel.

“Orthodox Christians will celebrate Palm Sunday, the popular name for the Christian holiday of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem,” the mayor wrote. — On this day, all 55 Orthodox churches in the city will host festive services with the consecration of willows.

According to Logvinenko, special attention will be paid to security issues. Police, representatives of the Cossack squad and volunteers will keep order.
