Paper medical records of Muscovites are moving to the Main Archive, and comfortable spaces for doctors are appearing in the capital’s clinics instead of card storage facilities. Four years have passed since the introduction of electronic medical records. During this time, the capital’s service has undergone a global round of modernization. Now Muscovites track all information about their health, diagnosis, and treatment using a digital analogue of a medical card. Patients can view the EHR on the mos.ru portal and in the EMIAS.INFO mobile application.
In 2024, the “health guide” was supplemented with a new section “My hospitalizations”. What kind of section is this, what opportunities does the electronic medical record open to Muscovites – in the material of the Information Center of the Moscow Government.
Supervised treatment
Section “My hospitalizations” opened up new opportunities for city residents, especially for those who have elderly relatives. Patients can give their relatives temporary access to their medical records. This allows you to track in real time:
— research results;
— doctor’s appointments;
– details of treatment.
After discharge, you can study the hospitalization history in the section.
As noted on the mos.ru portal, parents can also check information about their child’s treatment online if they have access to their medical record. To receive it, you need to add data about a child under 15 years old to your personal account on mos.ru.
Web version The city service also allows Muscovites to provide temporary access to their digital medical records to attending physicians of any medical organizations: regional, federal and private. A specialist will be able to study the information using a special link in an online format. To do this, the patient must set a time period and select the sections available to the doctor.
Available to everyone
Using the electronic medical record service is quite simple. Muscovites who have a compulsory medical insurance policy and a full account on mos.ru have access to the electronic medical record automatically.
For a standard account, you must submit an online application. Access will be provided within five days.
Wide range of services
The electronic medical record service has 14 sections. IN “My research» you can familiarize yourself with the conclusions of radiological studies (CT, MRI, mammography, fluorography), instrumental studies (endoscopy, ECG).
Chapter “My vaccinations» will present a vaccination card for an adult with a calendar of preventive vaccinations and a child under 18 years of age with a regional calendar of childhood vaccinations.
The data on the certificates of incapacity for work are located in the section “My sick leave“, and certificates of temporary disability of a child in form 095/у – “My certificates and medical reports“

You can also find electronic prescriptions with QR codes for medications in the city service. If desired, prescriptions can be printed out at the information kiosk at the medical facility.
In addition to the results of diagnostic tests, the digital medical record contains laboratory data, as well as test results for COVID-19 and information about ambulance calls.
Using the service, you can also maintain “Health Diary» — enter data on body temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen and blood sugar levels. To track indicators, it is possible to combine a diary with personal smart gadgets. This information can be used by specialists. If desired, it is proposed to fill out a family history questionnaire to determine the patient’s hereditary predisposition to various diseases.
