Today, April 26, an international event united everyone who honors the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. In Kurgan, more than a hundred people came to the Yugov library to write the “Victory Dictation”.
In the Kurgan region, the Yugov Library became one of the venues for the Victory Dictation. There are 118 of them in total in the region. The questions were dedicated to the anniversary of the liberation of previously occupied territories by the Red Army and the entry of the Red Army to the borders of the Soviet Union, the beginning of Operation Bagration, as well as the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade. Some of the dictation questions relate to the history of the Trans-Urals during the Great Patriotic War.
– The Victory Dictation is being held in our country for the sixth time. This year, 118 sites were organized in the Kurgan region. And again, our library named after Yugov is the main regional platform for this large-scale, international, patriotic, historical and educational event. Traditionally, schoolchildren, students, representatives of public organizations, and government agencies become participants in the action,” she told an “Region 45” correspondent. Guests of Yugovka also took part in the “Letter to a Hero” event. All messages with kind words and wishes will be passed on to our soldiers on the Northern Military District line.
